How do i tell my boyfriend i have learning disabilities?

I told my boyfriend that i did graduated from high school and he said "I knew you were a smarty!!" but i didnt tell him i have learning disablities and i have another type of diploma that special ed students have and no college i know of wont except me. I have to get my ged to go to college. He thinks i have a regular diploma and he wants me enroll in college with him and i dont know how to tell him i have learning disabilities. I'm afraid he might think i'm stupid. i tried my best when i was taking the high school exam and my teachers told me i almost past but i didnt.
