Is internet trolling a sin?

So I was recently asking questions on a website for answers and opinions from other people, and two of my very controversial and discussed questions were deleted because of "poe" and/or "trolling" the admin that deleted these then went on to explain that I should not troll because it is a sin. I wasn't trying to troll... I just wanted an answer, and now I think I'm going to hell. What do I do?
