Am I less cultured for not liking poetry?

I love novels and short stories, but I have never been able to get into poetry. I've always heard people praise poets and poetry but when I read it it does absolutely nothing for me. The only poem I like is The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. I've always thought it was because I'm not "cultured" or "refined" enough to find poetry interesting.
